Firstly, make sure that you have converted your engin account to a BYO account if you plan to continue to use it, and write down your username and password.
**** Warning: This will reset all settings on the box to the factory defaults ****
- Disconnect your computer and the box from the internet
- Pick up your phone handset and dial ****
- At the menu prompt dial 73738#
- Then press 1 to confirm the factory reset
- Pick up your phone handset and dial ****
- At the menu prompt dial 1# and write down the IP Address
- Go to the IP Address that was announced in a web browser
- Select ‘admin’ and ‘advanced’ options
- Go to the provisioning tab
- Change ‘Provision Enable’ to no
Once all these steps are done, you can use the box with any provider, or continue to use it with engin using your BYO username and password.
